Greetings Warrior Families,

Our last student day has traditionally been an early release day, but this was unintentionally left off of the published school calendar this year. On Tuesday, May 24 students in grades 1st through 11th will be released from school ONE HOUR EARLIER than their normal release time. If students ride the bus in the afternoon, they will be dropped off one hour earlier than their normal time.

AFTERNOON KINDERGARTEN AND PRESCHOOL will not attend on the 24th and their last day of school will be a normal schedule on Monday, May 23rd.  MORNING KINDERGARTEN AND PRESCHOOL will follow their normal schedule on Tuesday, May 24th and will not be released early. If students ride the bus, they will be dropped off at their normal time.

This early release will provide our staff members with an opportunity to work on finalizing student grades and closing out their classrooms for the summer. We have had a fantastic school year and we know your children are looking forward to summer break. Please encourage them to finish the year strong in the classroom, in their activities, and in the community. We have seen an increase in vandalism and discipline issues in our building and in our community. We must all partner to set the standard for behavior in our schools and community and work to enforce this for the safety of all students and staff.

Our mission is to Build Community and that is accomplished when we foster positive relationships inside of our buildings and strengthen our partnerships within our community. Please encourage your children to finish the school year on a positive note as we work to live out our mission every day.

Sincerely,
Isaac Seevers, Superintendent
