Donovan Cereal Boxes

Donovan Elementary School is turning community service into a fun and impactful event with its upcoming Cereal Box Domino Drive, benefiting the Lebanon Food Pantry. The school is calling on students, families, and community members to donate unopened boxes of cereal to help support local families in need.

The cereal box collection will take place at Donovan from May 5 through May 8, with a special event planned for May 9. On that day, staff and students will line the school’s hallways with the collected cereal boxes and knock them down in a visually exciting domino-style chain reaction — symbolizing the power of collective action and generosity.

The school has set an ambitious goal: to collect 2,000 boxes of cereal. Every donation counts, and all collected items will be donated directly to the Lebanon Food Pantry, which serves individuals and families across the community.

The event is a great way to bring our students together in service. Community members are encouraged to participate as well by dropping off cereal boxes at Donovan Elementary during the collection week.

By joining together, the Donovan community hopes to make a big difference — one cereal box at a time!
