Lebanon Luminary: Debbie Silcox

A Lebanon Luminary is a staff member, coach, or volunteer who shines brightly in our schools, uplifting students, supporting colleagues, going the extra mile, and making a lasting difference.

 

Our very first Lebanon Luminary award recipient is Bus Driver Debbie Silcox!

 

Three words that describe Debbie: inspiring, uplifting, and dedicated. She consistently goes above and beyond to bring joy and encouragement to her workplace. In addition to excelling in her daily responsibilities, Debbie takes her own time to post notes, yard signs, and decorations that remind her coworkers how valued and appreciated they are.

 

Her thoughtful gestures create a ripple effect of kindness, teamwork, and motivation, helping build a positive, supportive environment for everyone in the Transportation Department. Debbie truly shines, lighting the way with her kindness, positivity, and dedication. She has a special way of making everyone feel seen and appreciated, and that glow spreads throughout our schools. Lebanon City Schools is so lucky to have her making our future brighter every day!
