About the Play:
Based on the beloved novel and hit Disney films, Freaky Friday tells the story of an overworked mother and her teenage daughter who magically swap bodies and must spend a day in each other’s shoes. With just 24 hours until Mom’s wedding, chaos ensues—but so do heartfelt moments of connection, empathy, and self-discovery. Featuring a pop/rock score by Pulitzer Prize winners Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, this musical is a celebration of family, love, and learning to see life from someone else’s perspective.
Please note: This production takes place in a high school setting and features a cast of teenagers. As such, there are occasional uses of teenage language and references to age-appropriate topics.
The production includes 51 Lebanon City Schools students across cast and crew.
The show runs approximately 2 ½ hours, including a 15-minute intermission.
