Small Ways to Make a Big Difference
At Lebanon City Schools, we know that strong schools are supported by more than classrooms, textbooks, and schedules - they are strengthened by a community who cares about students, notices needs, and looks for meaningful ways to help. Over the years, we have heard from community members who ask, “How can I help?” or “Where can I give if I want to support students directly?”
To make these options easier to find, we wanted to share a few simple ways community members can support Lebanon students and families - from helping meet basic needs to supporting lunch accounts, school fees, scholarships, and student programs:
- Neighborhood Bridges - Support real-time needs for local students and families, such as clothing, shoes, school supplies, household items, or other basic supports. To learn more, visit https://neighborhoodbridges.org/community/lebanon-oh
- Student Lunch Accounts & Fees - Help ease meal account needs so students can enjoy lunch at school without added worry and/or support families facing financial hardship by helping with fees that cover classroom, course, or activity program balances. - Scholarships - Support Lebanon students as they take their next steps after graduation. Donations can be made via Payschools (https://payschoolscentral.com) by logging into your account and choosing “Fundraiser and Guest Checkout Fees” then “Scholarship Donations.”
- The Legacy Project - Support Lebanon’s student athletes by donating to this project which includes upgrades and additions at James VanDeGrift Stadium, ball diamond transformations at the junior high and high school campuses, and additional upgrades at the high school campus to include locker rooms, a band tower, a press box, restrooms, storage, and usable grass practice areas.
