You're Invited to a Community Book Study
You’re invited to a community-wide book study on The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt, a discussion of the mental health challenges facing today’s youth and the role that screens and social media play in shaping their experiences. As educators and parents, we are in a unique position to work together to understand and address these challenges, while supporting our children’s growth and well-being.
Through this study, we aim to create a space where families, educators, and community members can reflect on these issues together, exploring strategies to nurture a healthier, more balanced experience for our young people. Grab a book from the library, bookstore, or download the audiobook and begin listening.
* Due to illness, the book study dates in November were canceled. Superintendent Seevers will discuss the first two chapters of the book at the January dates.
