Small Group Counseling
The school counselors offer students the opportunity to participate in small group counseling during the year. These groups help to support the social and emotional development of students and provide them with Skills for Success, which has a positive influence on academic success.
The Small Groups offered focus mainly on developing coping skills and social skills. From week to week, the lessons highlight self regulation, managing big emotions, making friends, being a good friend, and manners. Each group will meet once a week for 6-8 weeks. Each session will be approximately 30 minutes in length and will take place during WIN (What I Need) time.
Students must have permission from their parents or legal guardian in order to participate.
