Public Record Requests

As stewards of taxpayer funds responsible for educating our community’s children, Lebanon City Schools is committed to the highest standards of transparency and public trust.

In accordance with Section 149.43 of the Ohio Revised Code and Board of Education Policy 8310, the District provides public records for inspection or copying upon request. Unless a record is legally exempt, we offer inspection at no cost or provide copies at cost within a reasonable timeframe. The District's records retention schedule can be found here.
Please note that the Ohio Open Records Act, as recorded in Ohio Revised Code Section 149.43, does not require the District to create new records to provide requested information.
